Do not come to this place!! They are rude and deceptive to customers. I live in Olympia, Washington and I have only went to gas stations that are self service only and I always pump my own gas. I attended this gas station late at night and when I drove to any available station, a person popped up and stated he was going to pump my gas. I stated okay, and explained I have never been to this type of service before. He didn't say anything and continued to pump my gas. I noticed the prices were increasing and very high. I quickly stated hey this is expensive. I only found out afterward I was charged almost 80 dollars for extra service that I wasn't aware of and did not consent to. He did not explain to me what service I was getting and that there will be an additional charge. I have never been to this type of gas station before and the employee, did not explain to me and the signs were not clear. I didn't know the difference between full and mini service, I was just there to get regular gas at the normal price. It feels very deceptive that this information wasn't explained. It was dark at night and there wasn't many customers so taking the time to explain would have helped. If I would have known what service I was getting, I would have immediately declined and found another gas station. There was another customer who pulled up shortly after me and started to pump her own gas so she was not aware either, the employees did not make it clear so we did not understand what we are getting. When I spoke to the manager Steve the following morning, he hung up on me twice after I explained this to him. He was very rude and condescending. There was no empathy or concern about my experience as a customer. He said it is not their fault that I didn't know and was confused and put the blame on me by saying you should just ask in a snarky tone. Now you will know next time, in a condescending tone. I told him I didn't know to ask, I thought I was getting gas at the normal price. I didn't understand what the services meant. I have never been here before. He stated that's not our fault and we are not going to inform customers because they don't know, they should figure it out. I stated customer satisfaction should be the ultimate goal of every business so there should be an effort to explain, even if it take 5 seconds to let the customer know there will be an additional charge and what each service includes. He stated no I will not do that. This is not our fault. When I explained that request to one of his employees he stated that it will anger the customers. I stated that would not anger me, if you would have explained it to me, I would have went elsewhere where the prices are regular. Customers should be aware so they can make an informed decision. This seems to be a scam to make more money off of the customers by not telling them. When I asked the manager for the corporate number he gave me the wrong number so I had to find it online. He was yelling at me on the phone and cut me off several times when I was explaining the situation, he wouldn't allow me to get a word in. He was rude and arrogant. He stated in the middle of the conversation, I have other important things to do and hung up. He was very defensive and argumentative throughout the conversation. I was treated very poorly as if my concerns did not matter. People like this should not work in customer service. I asked what was his bosses number so I can file a complaint about how I was treated, he stated, I don't give out that number, that's an invasion of privacy and personal in a rude tone. He was very nasty. I am requesting that he and his employees be better trained on customer service and communication. They should not work in customer service if they have a bad attitude and don't like people. I am not happy with the poor service I received and will no longer be returning to this gas station as I am not valued or treated with right. I will be filing a complaint with corporate. Customers do not come here, go to a place where you are valued and treated with respect.
