Our programs currently serve children from the age of 6 weeks to 13 years of age. Stepping Stones enrolls 120 students in their classrooms and offers before & after school care. Summer programs are fun and educational. Stepping Stones Montessori is a member of the American Montessori Society and the Michigan Montessori Society. Many of our faculty are active members of the North American Montessori Teacher's Association. Mission - "We cultivate curious and compassionate children, capable of transforming their world." We teach respect of self, others, and our environment. Our staff nurtures the self directed learning of each child and enables them to reach their potential. The school is located 1 mile north of the "Medical Hill" off Michigan Street in the city of Grand Rapids.
