EDIT: The owner of this company called and apologized and compensated us for the issue. She also explained that she'd reprimanded Feris on a number of occasions about doing just what he'd done; want to walk in without being invited. Serge acknowledged that he may have scratched the fridge and apologized. We were satisfied with the resolution.
Apex came out to fix the condenser on our LG fridge because the Geek Squad wasn't able to. Several things transpired during both visits. Feris came out first to see what the issue was. We were puzzled as to why he wasn't made aware of the issue from Geek Squad but I can only assume that is on Geek Squad.
Feris was the first one to see what the issue was. When he came up to the door, I had left it open a few inches so I could hear him just in case he didn't ring the door bell, he didn't. He didn't knock, he said hello, and I replied that I would be right there and he then said, "The door is locked." Well, of course it is! Why would you think it would be ok to just walk into someone's house without being invited in?? After needing to move his van he came to the door, said hello and without waiting to be invited in, he just walked right in. I'm sorry, but that's not polite, nor professional. I said something to him about it and he said, "I said hello." That's fine, but he needs to wait to be invited in before just waltzing back in and making himself at home. My husband was not home at the time, Feris is a strange man in my home and I was just not comfortable with him doing that. He asked for proof we bought the fridge (??) maybe it was a Geek Squad thing, I dunno, I just thought it was odd. He said it was the condenser, which we already knew, and said it needed to be ordered and we'd hear back in a few days.
That was Monday. Thursday Serge came out and fixed it but left deep scratches all along the top edge of the fridge! Needless to say, I am enfuriated!!! There is no possible way that could have happened except for negligence on his part to leave long, deep scratches along the top edge! And I'd better not hear a word about how they were there prior to his arrival because that would be a flat out lie. This is unacceptable! The fridge was only 3 years old and in pristine shape! Watch these guys like a hawk when they come to do repairs on your appliances, and make sure your doors are locked before arrival because they'll just waltz right in without knocking!!
