Was told my pet deposit was refundable when I rented. House was dirty, mold growing on bathroom ceiling, doors hard to close & shaped like fun house cause house settling and carpet old. When I moved she kept my deposit 1st saying i installed a small dog door and she needed to replace door now. Dog door was there originally - I owned a great dane a small dog door wod do nothing for me. After I confrontex her she said my cat scratched up carpet so she has to replace it- my cat was an outside cat. She will keep your deposit and wait unt you are out before tling you her lies on why. THhe house was cleaner when I left than when I moved in. It took me, my hunsband and 2 kids an entire weekend to rake the back yard before I moved in.
