I would give a NEGATIVE 5 review were it possible. Use this contractor at your own risk. Larry came out to our home to give us a quote on a stone pillar that we wanted repaired. He proceeded to try and convince my husband that ALL the stone pillars on our house needed to be repaired even though we only had one where the capstone was visibly loose. He gave us a quote that we immediately rejected telling him we were only interested in the ONE pillar as we were selling the home and just needed the one repaired at this time. He said he couldn't get to it for a few weeks. He showed up a couple weeks later saying he could get to it the next morning at 6:30am. We were home when he started the work, but we were in bed. At the time my husband noticed his crew were working on a different pillar then we had asked him to repair, he was perplexed and infuriated. My husband confronted Larry and Larry said, "Okay, I'll just pull my guys off the job". That was ridiculous as they had just damaged ALL 7 pillars by cutting them apart! My husband exclaimed that he couldn't just leave them with the damage they had just done. After repairing them, the following day, Larry left an invoice stuck in the front door for the rejected bid he had originally verbally given us. When I sent him a check for the one pillar we had asked him to repair, he served us with a notice to file a mechanics lien. It's obvious that he saw the opportunity to extort us for more money since he knew we were trying to sell our house.
