Wilson Fabric was started in 1993 with a 90 day note and a dream. Lucy Wilson and her husband Andy saw an ad in the paper for a truck load of fabric at one set price. They rented a building and that day Wilson Fabric was opened. At first she sold everything for $5.00 a yard. Lucy had to learn all about the different fabrics she had to offer and there were many. Lucy thought at first something had happened, but she soon realized all these people were waiting for her to open. The women who had been in the store the last week had been telling their friends about Wilson Fabrics. Wilson Fabric is more then just a fabric store.
