Architectural design of new custom homes or remodeling projects for private, individual homeowners. I started my business in 1975 and since that time I have designed hundreds of homes and remodeling projects for individual homeowners, primarily in SW Idaho. I am a devotee of Christopher Alexander's "A Pattern Language" and Sarah Susanka's "The Not So Big House" approach and philosophy of home design. Although I have designed many different types, styles, and sizes of houses on behalf of my clients, my own preference is for smaller, sustainable structures designed according to timeless principles. My passion in life is working with individual clients to help them build a home which supports and inspires them in their daily living, is built in a sustainable way, and contributes to the longterm livability of the community.
