I'm 79, almost 80, and have had dentures for about half my life. About 10 years ago one of the teeth broke out of the denture. Living in the St. Johns area of Portland, I went to have it fixed in the general vicinity. The Denturist there told me my denture was too old to be repaired so I agreed to a new denture. When it was placed in my mouth, I found it very difficult to talk, AT ALL. I returned the denture and looked for a different provider, and found Ron Farris. I think he was rather leary of this old woman ranting about the previous guy, but he had nothing to fear. He has fixed my 'old' denture 3 or 4 times, with a year guarantee each time. Each time the repair has lasted much longer than a year. Like, 2 to 5 years despite the problem that I have only 4 teeth left on the bottom,making it impossible to spread out the chewing of food to the entire denture. Plus, the denture fits better than it did when new. The last time I went in, about a week ago, the Receptionist told me there was NO Charge. I was pretty shocked. I would go many more miles than the 18 that I now live from his Studio, and I would pay just about anything for the knowledge that the providers in this Studio know what they are doing, and do such a great job.
