Custom Sewing & Alterations including wedding, special occasion & business casual wear. Also specializing in drapery & custom window treatments. Judy Holliday, owner of Holliday Alterations & Custom Sewing, started her career as a fashion-loving teenager who taught herself how to sew and alter garments for herself, her friends, and family. In 1987 Judy launched her home-based business and has also partnered over the years with several area bridal and special occasion shops. In the past 27 years, Judy has invested countless hours learning new techniques, broadening and refining her skills, and expanding her business by attending trade shows and educational conventions. Judy specializes in everything from basic alterations and tailoring to custom designs and redesigning garments into new looks. She strives to make sure her customers look and feel their best in their clothes - whether it's a favorite pair of jeans, a new suit for an interview, a gown for that special day, a passed-down family heirloom, or a well-loved jacket you just can't part with. Holliday Alterations is open by appointment only so as to provide you with the appropriate time needed to fit your garment, plan your design, measure your space, or anything else you need! Please call (724)422-1204 or email [email protected] to set up your appointment. Turnaround times for projects average 2-3 weeks unless otherwise noted. We try to be as accurate as possible when quoting a price and time frame for any given project, but please understand that the final charge and ready-by date may change based on additional work or supplies needed. If rush service is needed for your project, the final cost is subject to a rush fee of either 20% for 1-week turnaround or 50% for overnight or two-day turnaround. This can be discussed at the time of fitting and/or drop off.
