Ron and Michelle Laudon started Micron in a garage in The Colony Texas in 1993. Micron's first machine was a used CNC Bridgeport Knee Mill with a Boss 3 control. Later that year we bought a brand new Sharp Conventional Mill. At the time Micron was started Ron was working full time for E.W. Johnson Co. programming & running the CNC Mill Department. Michelle would run the CNC Mill during the day while raising two small children. Ron would run the CNC Mill at night and sometimes into the morning....
