My car wouldn't shift on the highway near Pinedale WY and so I coasted to a stop and had it towed to this shop. I had been searching internet forums trying to figure out why my Subaru wouldn't shift and I found that people had problems with the fluid in the clutch. I called and asked Performance Tech to check the clutch fluid before they got too deep into my car. They were booked a week out and instead of doing what I suggested, nine days later, they took the liberty of draining my transmission fluid and charged me for a hour of labor. I got a phone call and the mechanic quoted me $6500.00 for a new transmission! (a manual Subaru transmission) I laughed, commissioned a truck/trailer and drove 300 miles to pick up my Subaru. They parked my car pointed down hill pinned between to big trucks, making it very difficult to get onto the tailor with a come-along. I got it home and my uncle filled up the trans fluid and topped off the clutch fluid. It drives perfectly now, just needed a little clutch fluid! This shop will con you out of your money, pay the extra towing fee to get it far far away from this scum.
