I took my 97 F350 pick up to Rogers Garage because it was running rough, I checked the truck before I brought it in with a diagnostic code reader and had no codes showing so I couldn’t understand the misfire. The mechanic also did diagnostic and found no codes. They did compression test and found 2 broken plugs, replaced plugs and truck ran better. When I picked it up they Charged me $345.00. I got less than a mile away and check engine light came on. I called them and they said to bring it back so I did. It then showed EGR code which Is the exhaust gas recirculating valve. It is controlled by vacuum lines and an electrical signal. They told me that it was a coincidence and the only thing they could do was to replace exhaust manifolds and associated parts for $2400. I was very unhappy and wanted them to show me what they had done. Roger came out smelling of alcohol and belligerent. He told me that I would have to go get $345 more in cash before he would release my truck, because I messed with him and he was going to mess with me. I called the troopers and asked them to meet me there, because I was worried it would get ugly with him. He then said they would refund the money to my card. Long story to say that I wouldn’t recommend this place.
