Prestige Jewelry, owned by Robert and LinaiYi, is the only jewelry store and jeweler I use. I have used them for years. I have made new purchases, had repair work done, and sold old gold and jewels to them. On my last visit, I sold them some old scrap jewelry, an old gold bracelet (14k set with diamonds) and a ring (18k set with diamonds). They paid me $2000.00. Kevin Jewelers offered me only $600.00 for the same pieces. Robert and Linai don't buy scrap gold all that much, so they may be reluctant to deal with some items. But you can trust that their prices, whether buying or selling, are fair, reasonable, and great deals.</span>

The business address listed is actually the address of the jewelry mart in Upland which is like a high-class flea market which houses several fine jewelry vendors. These jewelry marts are all over southern CA. The largest concentration of them is in the jewelry district in downtown LA. I am familiar with the other vendors in the Upland mart (called Uptown Jewelry Mart), but I have only dealt with Prestige Jewelry, the third vendor on the left as you walk in (booth B-3). The owners, Leangai and Robert Yi, are Christians and honest to a fault. It's very comforting to know you don't have to worry about the honesty of your jeweler---I completely trust them! The quality of the materials and craftsmanship in their merchandise is of the highest standard and is usually better and higher quality than the large chain jewelry stores. Leangai hand picks all her own settings and then hand picks all the jewels that will be used in those settings. She's VERY picky about her selections. Robert is a master jeweler who sets the stones in their new merchandise. He also does meticulous and exacting jewelry repair, polishing, sizing, and specialty work.
