Cooper's Wounded Bear Farms is the best kennel facility I've ever used. I live in Cordova, and willingly make the 3 hr ferry trip and the 3 hr drive to this kennel specifically for the peace of mind I receive, and the quality of care my dogs receive. They are always happy and healthy when I pick them up. I've looked all over anchorage, the valley and the Kenai Pen to find a closer one, or one with the same level of care, and this one is the BEST!! Excellent care, extremely clean facility and extremely happy dogs. The owners are knowledgeable and have immediate medical care for the animals at their fingertips if ever needed. I'll continue to hire their services as long as I have animals, and will visit them after, because they are simply terrific people.
