A FRIEND AND I STAYED IN THE MAIN HOUSE LAST NIGHT IN TWO ADJOINING BED ROOMS WITH CONNECTING BATH. VERY COMFORTABLE ACCOMODATIONS, IMPECABLY NEAT AND CLEAN. BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE SURROUNDINGS WITH A PASTURE OF GRAZING CATTLE BEHIND THE HOUSE. QUIET, PEACEFUL AND ALTOGETHER PLEASANT SURROUNDINGS. OWNER, JANET MAY, IS VERY PERSONABLE AND CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR CREATURE COMFORTS. ENJOYED VISITING WITH HER AND OTHER GUESTS AT A LOVELY AND DELICIOUS BREAKFAST. After several weeks on work assignment in Greensboro, AL, I have become quite the afficianado as a frequent guest at Blue Shadows. Ms. May is the consummate hostess, always concerned with her guest's comfort. She is most engaging and a fascinating conversationalist, providing a delicious breakfast as well.The accommodations are charming and comfortable, neat and clean. The property boasts a nature walking trail, a lake and beautiful views. I am so glad I have experienced Blue Shadows, as it has not disappointed!
