I live in Blue Island and have been at this location for the past 7 years. Every morning between 5 and 7 am, the train parks behind my building and revs the engines for 15 to 20 minutes. I have inquired with the city of Blue Island how to request that the train park closer to the train station or further away so it is not directly behind my building. Our address is 13201 Western, we live just west of the bridge/overpass and the noise is amplified because of the bridge/overpass.
