How We Got Started
Macks Billiards was created from a family oriented game room. Although Pinball, Foosball and video games were popular, Pool Tables were the primary attraction. Children and adults of all ages enjoyed the friendly competition. The game room was so crowded at times people were turned away because there was no more room. As competition grew so did the demand for pool cues, cue cases, chalk and the list goes on. Mack made those things available to all the players. In the late 80’s and early 90’s Mack held Billiard tournaments outside business hours. Players drove 60 miles or more to attend the events. Some of the finest talent in Southern Oklahoma and North Texas played in the tournaments and found great competitors in the small town of Whitesboro, Texas. As demand for Billiard Accessories grew, customers began to ask how they could purchase their own billiard table for play at home with family and friends. Again, Mack answered the call. Attending Billiard conventions around the country, he established relationships with Tour Professionals like Jeanette Lee, Earl Strickland, Mike Massey and many others as well. Watch the "Amazing Boot Shot" on this site with Mike Massey on YouTube with Mack in Vegas. Executives of company’s that build top quality Billiard Tables are constantly in touch with Mack. As sales grew, the game room became a showroom filled with everything a game room should have. From Foosball to shuffleboard and Poker Tables to fit every budget. As game rooms go, the furniture can very well accent the exterior of the room.Just remember that you should add 10 feet to the inside dimensions of your new Billiard Table. that’s both length and width. You can play over furniture and people can move but, walls get in the way. We have shorter Pool Cues to accommodate the tight spots.
