Highway Equipment & Supply Co. provides quality equipment and service to our customers at our Harrisburg, Drums, Brownstown, and Lock Haven locations. In 1944, Highway Equipment & Supply Co. was established in Harrisburg, PA, as a branch office of Highway Equipment Company of Pittsburgh. The growing company later moved from its original downtown office to a larger facility to house parts and service departments and on-the-road sales staff. The newly-incorporated company moved to an even larger facility in eastern Harrisburg in 1951 and became a Michigan wheel loader dealer in 1955. In 1985, Volvo Construction Equipment purchased Michigan and became our flagship brand. Highway opened a branch office in Drums in 1960, Lock Haven in 2006, and Brownstown in 2009. The company, a private and closely-held C Corporation incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, employs approximately 90 people across the four locations. Each branch includes service, sales, parts, and service departments.
