Welcome to Serene Photography which is based in Jacksonville, Florida. My name is Sandra Cowins. I've always enjoyed and been passionate about photography as far back as I can remember. In 2011, the Lord spoke to me to use my gift to bless others. So hence, Serene Photography was born. One of the definitions for serene (usually initial capital letter) means most high or august. Living Image Photography began on Rogero Road in the Arlington area in 1972, 5 years later we re-located to Jacksonville Beach until '88 when we returned to Arlington for just 2 years and then spent 3 years in San Marco while we searched for a permanent home in Mandarin. In 1996 we built our studio on a 1 acre lot just a block east of San Jose Blvd. With half of our 4,000 square foot studio dedicated to shooting area we are one of the largest studios in Northeast Florida.
