AWIS was incorporated on April 26, 1996 as the Agricultural Weather Information Service, Inc.. Our original focus was on providing agricultural weather services. Although we still serve agricultural clients, much of our business today is with energy and utility firms, weather data services and forecasting for use in business intelligence, and in other specialized areas.
