Blacker graduated from Case Western Reserve University Dental School after receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Following dental school he entered and completed a general practice residency at the University Of Utah Hospital. He then pursued his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center for 2 years. Dr. Blacker has achieved the prestigious status of diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is a rigorous program of testing and review that only one in four Orthodontists ever achieve. He believes that it is vital to continue updating his education by attending professional meetings, scientific lectures, and advanced education courses in the fields of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
