I hired KDC Builders/1st Choice foundation to level my 1955 pier and beam house at the end of May 2012. I'd had my house leveled twice before with disappointing results, and hesitated to try a 3rd time. I was really unhappy with how un-level the house was though, so I decided to try one more time. The owner, Gary Jenny, showed up with his site supervisor and gave me my estimate - and told me that due to the extent of damage, I would need 24 new concrete steel reinforced piers. He assured me that they could level the house -- even though the previous 2 contractors told me it would never be perfectly level because the wood was old and warped. They were wrong. Mr Jenny's company came in and replaced my old piers, and installed new ones - AND got my house level! There were several places inside the house where the upheaval in the floor was really bad and noticeable - I did not point out any specific thing that I wanted repaired, but the crew worked through the entire house and hit every single place that ever bothered me. My house is level now, and I would recommend this company to ANYONE looking to fix foundation problems on their house. They did an AWESOME job, and I will be hiring them again in the future for gutters and fencing.
