So i called Adventures USA today to purchase swimming membership. I tell the lady on the phone that there are 12 of us, i let her know that 8 are foster kids. She tells me the price of the membership and tells me that not a problem. So i go after work to pay. And the owner pulls over on the skating part of the business. He aked how many people will be on my membership. I tell him 12 he looks at me and says please tell me u are not the lady with 9 foster kids. I smile and yes i am. He proceeds to tell me that they can not sell me a membership. He said we are not a daycare and do not let daycares swim there. I let him know that my husband and my 18 year old son would be going with our kids. He then said that my husband was just a glorified baby siter. And the people that memberships thier disipline their kids. I let him know my kids are very well behaved and would be disiplined as well. He tell me he just cant allow that many foster kids in his pool and that all u hear on the news is about bad foster parents and foster kids and he did not want that in his pool. I let him know that what he sees on the news is only like 1%, i preceded to tell him we are adopting 2, possibly 4,and he is discriminating against my kids for there parents wrong doing and he is acting like they are a bunch of monkeys. I tell him I would not give u a penney of my money... i encourage all of you not to give this man nor his business your money either. Just because these kids are in foster care
