Prior to 2011 ,I took my garments to another local alterations shop for service. The work was decent and the price was fair, however the service was Lackluster. Mr. Washington and his staff not only provided superior service for the same price I was accustomed to paying, they all made me feel welcome and valued. I received the Sunday dress attire for my choir at noon on Saturday. I was able to find a very nice black suit at one of our local stores. After my purchase, I was in need of alterations for my pants because it was too long for my stature. Next, I pondered for a few moments. Then (Larry), of Larry Washington's Tailor and Alterations came to mind. It was getting late in the evening, so I pressed on hoping that I would be able have my needs meet. After arriving there, I was plesantly greeted by the Staff and promptly served by Larry. He was in the process of ending the business day,but he willingly gave me the extra time. Mr. Washington measured, himmed, and pressed my pants to an awesome black suit. I was very greatful that over the years, Larry Washington's Tailor and Alterations still provide the professional and personal touch. Kudos to Mr. Larry Washington and his business!
