I was told at the end of January that closing would be in 45 days. Our lease was up at the end of February so we asked for a month extension. A few days before our closing mid- March, Jan asked for 2 additional weeks. We weren't happy but agreed to the delay. April brought stories of our file being lost twice, a tornado back east, and lenders closing due to Covid19 as well as 2 failed closing dates. We fired North Star and were able to close within a few weeks. Sad part is the lender we ended up using offered to do our mortgage and Jan said no without consulting us first. I literally have ptsd from 75 days of high stress calls, countless lies and a serious lack of professionalism. I wouldn't recommend North Star to anyone ever. They're terrible
