Hello,Matt Knowles I want to give back to the youth in the city and area where i learned everything.I went on to play fifteen seasons of pro soccer,now its time for me to give all i learned plus more back to the youth in Philadelphia. I coached and worked with youths while i was playing so for 12 -14 years i have been working with youths.I also was Head coach of High School soccer boys/Girls teams for 5 seasons. IN 1996 I Was the fir player drafted in Major League Soccer(MLS) That was a big day because my hard work paid off. Off the field these youth have to be told and taught that in pro sports its not like you practice for 2 hours and go home its a 12-16 hour days. we just dont play games wheather its football or soccer we have families,we have bills and we live a normal live just like they do.it comes down to hard work if you want it,Respected each other and respect yourself the most, About 3-4 years ago my brother passed away he was 41 and my best friend,about 13 month's later my Sister passed away and then 3 month's later my newphew passed so for about 3 years my life was like i was lost. but i have come along way and have been working with youths now for 4-6 month's..
