RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, RUN AND HOPE YOU DIDN'T CATCH ANYTHING FROM THESE CREEPS!!! I went in today to trade my 2001 Ford Mustang with 92,000 miles on it for a 2009 Toyota Prius. When I got there, the "finance manager" told me he would give me $3000 to $3500 for my car (clean title, never wrecked, no scratches or dents and non smoker car). After sitting there with him a few minutes I could tell he was full of $h!t. He tells me he is going to have his guy check my car out, and let me know what they can give me for it, but as he walks away, tells me yet again, would be between $3000 to $3500. I was ready for him to come back and say $3000. He comes back less then 5 minutes later, NEVER going outside to look at my car or anything, and tells me my car is only worth $1500. I pull it up on KBB and the trade in value in FAIR condition is $3900, Private Party is $6045 and RETAIL (what there a$$holes are going to sell it for) is $7995. Mind you they have other Mustang Convs JUST LIKE MINE WITH A LOT MORE MILES ON IT that they are selling for $10,995 to $15,995. He then tells me to sell it on Craigslist for more and come back with $3500 and they will put me in the Prius. Okay fine, I go to CarMax and have them make me an offer on my car, they come back with $3100. I call the guy again, and I said hey CarMax is going to give me $3100 for my car, can you work with that, and can someone come around here (less then 2 miles away) and bring me back to the lot. He tells me,
