Henry Beerntsen started making our award winning chocolate in 1925. Today we continue his tradition by making chocolate with the finest ingredients. It All Started in 1925 The Beerntsen family has been making candy in Green Bay, Wisconsin for four generations. We use old techniques and all natural ingredients to produce our hand-crafted, award-winning chocolates. Whenever possible, we use local ingredients such as pure Wisconsin milk and butter. When Henry Beerntsen founded Beerntsen's Candies in 1925, he set a high standard for quality that continues today. This is the sort of chocolate your grandparents enjoyed. Nothing pretentious or over-priced. Just good old-fashioned scrumptious treats. Beerntsen's makes the kind of chocolate that wins people's choice awards at the state fair. The kind of chocolate that people are delighted to receive as gifts. The kind of chocolate you'll buy for yourself. The chocolate people dream of!
