My house flooded on July 30, 2012. Home Design was referred to me by the restoration company. I was told by Home Design that my furnishings would be dried and clean by a special process which included placing them in a special drying room. Home Design told me they would photograph all my belonging before packing them in boxes and would give me a dvd for my records of all my items and which boxes they were in. I was so upset when I received the dvd, most of items were not listed. When I went to their facility to meet with my insurance adjustor my furniture was scattered through out their warehouse. Their special drying room was just a old building located in a bad area of North Hollywood. The building was old and dilapidated and protected by a chain link fence in poor condition. The furniture that we were able to look at had not been cleaned or dried, and was covered with mold. Everything was stacked on top of each other, my furnishings were mixed in with other customers furniture. My adjustor said we would have to wait for the furniture to be returned and that I would be responsible for the damage that Home Design caused.. I requested Home Design to return everything after my home was repaired. Kara Kelly at Home Design said she is not returning anything until I pay her $124,000.00 for their services. I need to get my furniture back, but $124,000.00 is way to much to pay. Kara Kelly refuses to give me a detailed invoice showing how they have arrived at their charg
