Samuel J. Tilden High School Alumni Association, Inc., was established in October 2014 by a group of Tilden Alumus. We attained our 5011(c)(3) designation in September of 2015. This organization was built on the premis that 100% of ALL donations would be distributed to the youth through our Scholarship Program. Our Board and Staff volunteer their time to the Organization in any capacity needed. We generate funds for events through our Fundraising efforts, but mostly through donations by our Organization Board members and volunteers. Essentially, we fund our own Organization. For this reason, we reach out to our Alumni, Family and Friends for assistance. Our Alumni Association was formed with the Mission and Vision to Uplift, Empower and Enrich our youth in the community by helping to provide scholarships through our fundraising ability and providing mentoring progams.
