Plumbing and heating service-residential, commercial and industrial Markle's Plumbing & Heating was established in 1952 By Glenn T Markle in the Newberry section of Williamsport, Pa. In 1971, Glenn Jr joined his father in the business and shortly thereafter earned his Master Plumbing license. In 1990, additional high-pressure water-jetting equipment was added, expanding the company's ability to handle larger commercial and industrial jobs. Additional trucks were added and Markle's Rapid Rooter was born. In addition to Glenn and his wife, Sharon, there are eight full time employees and one part time. The company's regular office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and has 24 hour emergency service available evenings and weekends.
