As the disciples of the Early Church carried out their deeds by faith in Christ, the members of the World Mission Society Church of God put into practice the teachings of God the Father and God the Mother. In a world where natural disasters, violence, and other unfortunate events are on the rise, the mission of the World Mission Society Church of God is to facilitate peace in communities and share love and happiness through volunteerism. This volunteer work has been a spark of hope for mankind. Members of the Churches of God bring neighbors and communities together through: Blood drives Disaster relief efforts Environmental protection projects Senior and social welfare events Campaigns to simply make people smile Its efforts have gained the World Mission Society Church of God recognition by the United Nations for aiding natural disaster victims, as well as the U.S. President’s Call To Service Award for its countless hours of community service. Along the East Coast, the Church also has 1,200 volunteers trained as first responders through the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. These first responders are ready to help their communities in a moment's notice in the event of an emergency. The World Mission Society Church of God is a faith-based nonprofit organization established in 1964 by its founder, Ahnsahnghong. The Church teaches about God the Father and God the Mother, according to the testimonies of the Bible.
