Pearl Coffee, home of Diana Coffee, is over 75 years old, definitely older than 1993! It is now run by the third generation, Johnna Economou. It is the only place in Akron that I know of that imports and roasts the coffee locally. If you are a true connoiseur of coffee flavor, not just a sweet hot drink with lots of cream, heavy flavorings, and whip cream, then you owe yourself a trip to 675 S. Broadway Street. Absolutely the best coffee - freshly imported, freshly ground or green bean and roast it yourself. Very friendly. I don't work there - I buy my coffee there!
