I took my vehicle into a radio installation shop (June 2012). After they unhooked my radio they could not get the car to start. They took full responsibilty and took it to THEIR mechanic. However, they called and told me that coincidentally my fuel pump went out simultaneously. I gave the mechanic my credit card over the phone to replace the fuel pump since we desperately needed the car back the following day for my son's driving test that had been scheduled for three months. I went and picked up my car at the radio shop. I never knew the mechanic or where they were located. A few weeks later my engine light came on. I took it to MY mechanic and he did not see anything wrong and did not get a "code". He told me to come back if the car acted up in any way. Car never acted up, but light remained on. I just assumed it was an electrical issue from disconnecting the battery (which Saturn is known to have). Now, it is February and my car would not pass inspection due to the check engine light being on. I then take the car back to the mechanic where he is able to get a "code" now when hooked to his computer. He finds that the prevoius mechanic never connected the EVAP hose at the time of installation. He only charged me his hourly rate of 70.00. I called the radio shop to find out who they took my car to. I then called Advanced Tech Auto and spoke with the manager who was unfriendly and not helpful at all. His only comment was "I should have brought it in to them." I told him why wo
