While you are here, you can take a swamp tour, visit a plantation or museum. Munson's Swamp Tour, A Cajun Man's Swamp Tour, or Annie Miller's Son's Swamp Tour are all interesting and informative. Many alligators are to be seen on these tours. A visit to LUMCOM Louisiana University Marine Consortium located in Cocodrie also gives you information on coastal errosion and marine life in Louisiana. A great day trip may include visits to Laura Plantation or Oak Alley Plantation. Or you may want to visit Bayou Terrebonnne Waterlife Museum or Southdown Plantation Museum within minutes of Julia's.
