We began buying Sue Keefer's unique paper cutting art for the ends of the cabinets in our kitchen. Sitting at the kitchen table. in our country kitchen, looking at the bare ends of our custom maple cabinets gave me an idea; we bought two of Sue's nice trees the next time we saw her at a craft show.
We liked those pieces, and received many compliments, so we added another one in our media room. That piece is over my wife's sewing shelf, along with several other small pieces. Two theorem paintings are over the special purchase bone colored washer and dryer. Those pair of appliances have a hand woven rug spread across them, for a homey look. (I envisioned the media room to be high tech, but aren't obsessive about it..; and there isn't room for a row of computers, with the antique coat armoire we found. And lamps; so many lamps; ha, ha, ha.)
There are 15 ft. of large original art pieces above the built in DVD / VHS tape cabinet. That 30 drawer cabinet has 200 pieces of redware on top; my point is, our whole home is filled with art and crafts, and Sue Keefer's beautiful pieces fit right in with the rest of our treasures.
