I had Martin glass put tempered glass into a storm door sash. They put it in the wrong channel & the sash was crooked on the lower left corner & wouldn’t fit into the door properly & wouldn’t slide up & down. I took it back & the manager hammered on it & it was still crooked but told me it would work. It still wouldn’t fit into the door properly & still wouldn’t slide up & down. I took it back again & he wanted to charge me $100 to come to the house to see if it wouldn’t fit. I had pictures of how it sat crooked but he dismissed me. I explained that the sash wouldn’t slide up & down like it’s supposed to & he dismissed me. He was argumentative, rude, demeaning & aggressive, so aggressive I became aggressive right back. He refunded my money instead of standing behind his work. Why would I get a refund if it was done right? My blood pressure went sky high dealing with such horrible customer service that I called him a few choice names. I took the sash to a different place & when I told him my experience he physically described the manager at Martin Glass & said he’s heard about this guy’s behavior before. If you’re looking for amateur work done poorly & don’t mind being talked down to, go to Martin Glass. If you want quality work done, don’t. At least until this guy is gone.
