this was a nice store to visit at one time. But since the owner passed away and the controls were handed over to the daughter and her husband, it's simply not the same place. I used to always go in there and the owner (Mr. Urban) was always on the sales floor. He would always greet me and ask how I (we) were doing. A very pleasant personality. BUT all good things must come to an end. The cashiers used to also be courteous. Now they act like they're doing YOU a favor. With the exception of a couple of cashiers. That was a lady named Molly and a tall middle aged man. (can't remember his name...maybe Jim or Tim or someting short like that), but they've been there forever, and they were always courteous and fun,and he actually still counted your change back into your hand like it's supposed to be done. and said "Thank You!" I guess they're still there. The rest of them either didn't say jack or they talk too much and ask nosy questions. The last time I went in there the prices had gone up tremendously. The store is not being updated at all, the gas pumps are antiquated, and you NEVER see the boss(es).
I've heard thats just as well because they are snooty and act like they really don't want to be there and they avoid customers. That's OK though. There's another gas station 3 miles north of there and now there's a Dollar General next to that station!
I'll miss Molly and the tall dude though.
