JHI’s Founder & President, Jay Hoehl, has been directly involved in recycling and reuse since his days hauling surplus WWII naval steel while attending high school and studying engineering at college in Oregon. After a decade of working as a computer programmer in the 70’s, he discovered an unmet need for managing the electronic surplus coming out of the rapidly growing electronic manufacturing industry. He left programming in 1980 to focus on meeting this need full-time and never looked back....
