I have dealt with many attorneys and this is by far the worst attorney to work with. I was a plaintiff in a civil case where everything was looking to go in my favor according to the evidence, facts, etc. It was a lengthy 3 year process to get a court date. Mr. Marshall was completely un prepared at trial, his whole performance was extremely weak in bringing facts and evidence forward. He had no confidence and continuously stuttered his words throughout the trial, the judge could not hear him most of the time. He didnt use key witnesses, which I previously suggested he do, he also didnt bring forward important texts and documents into evidence, all this would have helped the case in my favor. When I asked him about these things at break, he said they were irrelevant which turned out to be 100 untrue! The judge allowed those facts into evidence from defendant. Mr. Marshall's performance was pathetic, to say the least. I recommend not hiring this attorney, you will save yourself a lot of headache and money. He is un professional: gave me 2 day deadlines to send him evidence while i'm international which forced me to extend my trip. Mr. Marshall also urged me to revive my business, I spent an entire day physically going to the location, then later he realized it was for the wrong year and was unnecessary for me to do it. He also stated it is likely they will do a zoom call on day of trial and said it was ok for me to make travel arrangements, only to have them changed after he told me I had to show up in person last minute, costing me a lot of money. He stated court will not play any videos during trial, however, the defendant played videos and a lot of my evidence was in video format and transcripts, never seen in court. He grilled me with detailed questions from 3 years ago that I didnt remember, I answered as truthfully as i could according to memory, he knew I was nervous and not doing well and still kept me on the stand for around 5 hours! Oddly, I felt much more comfortable and answered questions easily when defendants attorney cross examined me. Mr. Marshall did not give the proper support to prepare for this trial. He has been rude and cocky throughout this whole process. I lost a lot of money due to Mr. Marshal's neglect to perform his duty. I hope this review helps others in making an informed decision before hiring this lawyer.
