Stay away! He has severe mental health issues and is completely incapable of operating the properties he owns. Before I moved out, he: - Mislead me during the rental process with old pictures which made the place look much better than reality - Let strangers stay in my room and eat my food/drink my alochol. - Walked into my room without knocking while I was sleeping - Had multiple violent interactions with another tenant that was his on-again/off-again girlfriend - Failing to repair, clean, or otherwise maintain ANYTHING on the property - Locked me and others out with a door chain in the middle of the night like a curfew, despite knowing we'd be late coming back The final straw was trying to increase the rent by more than 50 I laughed and gave immediate notice.
