My two year old was kicks out after a month due to tantrums. When I first had the interview with this daycare, I explained that my child may be on the spectrum but we aren't sure yet and that he most likely needs an aide the enter day. I was provided positive feedback ... "we have been doing this for 11 years" ... "yes we have staff for that". I guess that wasn't true. After providing this information and explaining he was non verbal, they still ensured me it was no problem. They called me during work and said he wouldn't be able to attend and he had two weeks. Currently trying to get him evaluated as soon as possible so that he can receive the services that he does need. But as a first time parent who is literally learning so many new things and trying her absolute best, this was such a horrible experience to go through. It was so unprofessional in my opinion. And it would've been nice if they offered some places for him to attend. I say this to say, I hope that nobody else goes through this. I hope daycares start to listen at the interviews instead of just collecting money and students. It would've been completely fine if they denied him entry after I extensively went over his problems. It would've been okay instead of literally kicking him out. Instead of making me trust them only to call me and say they don't have time for a staff member to be with him all day. When I specifically asked at the interview. Prob the most traumatic experience that I will always remember as a mother.
