I am a widow raising 3 kids all alone in West Hartford. In 2015 I had some financial issues due to medical bills arising from my partner's cancer and giving up my full-time job to care for our kids after her death. Four years later I'm back on my feet, and I called Rileys for a plumbing problem for the first time in 4 years. They said they couldn't send someone for 4 days. The morning of my appointment, this morning, the owner Scott Riley called me and canceled saying it was because of my past financial issues. I tried to explain that it's been 4 years and those problems are behind us but instead he hung up on me. If you want to hire a plumber, call ANYONE but not this lousy mean and unhelpful company. PS I called another plumber and they came within 4 hours and fixed the problem on the spot, and I paid them on the spot. That's $250 Rileys won't be getting. Call Advance Plumbing instead of Rileys. They didn't make me smile today, they made me sad at how they treated a widow who's had a run of bad luck and now pays all her debts.
