WEST operates from eight offices located in Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and Texas. For over 35 years, WEST has provided responsive, innovative, cost effective services, and quality work products. Our staff comprises engineers and scientists with strong academic backgrounds and diverse water resource engineering project experience.
Our staff includes nearly 60 professionals with advanced degrees in water resources engineering, including 14 who have earned a PhD and 10 designated as Diplomates in Water Resources Engineering (D.WRE) by the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers. Our staff are industry leaders, providing critical leadership in various technical societies and making significant contributions to the development of state-of-the-art technical methods and modeling technology.
From the Chehalis to the Mississippi to the Gyeong-in Ara Waterway in the Republic of Korea, WEST offers services locally, nationally and internationally in water resources, erosion control, bridge hydraulics and scour analyses, sediment transport, geomorphology, wetland hydrology, river measurements, surface and groundwater hydrologic modeling, flood control, hydraulics, environmental engineering, water quality and contaminant transport modeling, coastal and estuarine modeling, software sales, computer programming, training, and quality assurance.
WEST staff are teachers to the industry through HEC-RAS training offered nationwide through the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and through a number of state or regional floodplain management associations.
