They had done a number of new roofs in our neighborhood ("Ashbridge" in Downingtown, off Peck Road), so we were excited when we got a really competitive estimate. Well, you get what you pay for. After multiple re-scheduling conflicts, they finally did the roof. They had forgotten the gutters and downspouts after i called a week later to remind them ! Well, the first leaks in the main house happened within a couple of weeks. After two visits (never being able to determine where the leaks came from), i recommend they look at the through-roof attic fan. Must have been it bc it didnt leak after that (strange that i tell the roofer where the leak was coming from). Next, it was the screened-in porch. We have 2 skylights, which are from the late 80's but never leaked and still looked good. They tried to sell us on replacing the skylights at $1200 ea. No reason to replace, right ? Well, after the new roof went on the porch, the skylights began to leak. Amos came back 4 times but never could find the reason for the leak. Did i say the skylights NEVER leaked before ? They didnt. I refused to ask him back and will be getting another roofer to look at the porch. So, in the latest heat wave i went into the attic because the second floor seemed really warm. Well, wouldnt you know: the through-roof attic fan isnt working at all! Now i'll need to get an electrician here to see the problem. My recommendation is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!
