Jim will scam you out of your money by selling you sick animals, and then they have a no return or exchange policy! He is smart but his son, Jesse Paintiff, knows even more. Unfortunately, Jesse doesn't work there anymore. If you're interested in reaching out to him for information on a furry animal, salt or fresh water tanks, live rock, reptiles, or anything else, he will give you free information! Jesse can also come out to you and help you with your tanks or anything else you need. There is a small fee, depending on how far he needs to travel, what it is you need, and if he needs to purchase equipment for you. If you'd like to enlist in Jesse's tank and animal services, text 828-301-3258.
Other than Jesse, the business doesn't have much going for it. It's really filthy, infested with roaches and mold. The staff are clueless and rude, except for Jim, but he is an asshole too. His wife, Jennifer Rene Paintiff, is also clueless. She thinks she knows how to run a small salt water tank, but her information will kill everything in your water system! Stay away from this place. I have been in contact with PETA, Asheville PD, NC Board of Vets (not too sure of the actual name on that last one), IRS, and recently submitted a complaint with the BBB. I am organizing protests to hold signs up warning other customers to stay away. Anybody who wants to join these peaceful protests can email me!
