I love working at the La Palapa store. My fellow employees from my manager to the ranch manager and ranch employees are the greatest people to work with. Always a friendly and happy crew. We have been going through changes right now since one of the owners, who works behind the scenes through our office person, took over. We have an awesome store totally reconstructed. All fresh and new. The entryway is looking beautiful with a new wall and pathway. Of course the avocados are the best, and the avocado oil is really getting popular. We have the cutest hot sauces, a variety of salsas and organic chips. Please do stop in and meet the wonderful employees. Just turn on your blinker when you see the sliced avocado sign on Hwy 41.
March 9. Well, changes are funny. I've been replaced with what the owner said he" wants a gentleman to work up in the store." In the past few weeks my hours have been cut down to two and a half hours one week, to don't come in the next. I guess the owner and office girl don 't know that that is discrimination. Even when they've been informed.Sheela keeps recording me on her laptop whenever she comes up to talk to me at the store. harassing me with "you can just leave if you don't like the noise." Really?
