Rest Haven Memorial Park is a beautiful cemetery with rolling hills and trees located in Lafayette, Indiana.

Rest Haven features flat bronze memorials, which were a relatively new idea for cemeteries in 1931 (the first flat bronze memorial for a cemetery was cast in 1927). During WWII, when metals were needed to fight the war, the bronze companies made temporary memorials from asphalt, which were later replaced with bronze memorials after the war. Rest Haven still has one of the temporary markers from that period.
