Rather than skidding, a forwarder is used to carry the logs out of the woods and prevent damage to standing trees. Storm damaged or uprooted trees can be harvested as you wish. We keep stump height as low as possible. All of our work is done in accord with sound forest management principles, and existing woods roads maintained to their original condition. You determine which trees will be harvested and/or set a minimum stump diameter. If you need assistance we can advise you. Just tell us what you have in mind.
