I grew up in Maine, and there are no donuts like Labrees in the world, at leas t to me. They used to be distributed to all the stores at least in the East Millinocket and Bangor areas. They are great old fashioned donut, heavy and flavorful. I love that they have the spice, pumpkin and molassas donuts in the fall. I find them hard to find now, but I would always buy at least 4- 6 dozen and freeze them so I could bring them back to Maryland with me.
